Great success for Grand Soleil

The Grand Soleil boats have inaugurated the new season with great performances and results.

In Majorca, the 10th edition of Gaastra Palmavela – one of the most important spring regattas of the Med and in Europe – took place from the 2nd to 5th May, with 130 boats registred from 17 different countries. Just launched, Mr Wester’s GS 43 “Antilope” won an excellent second place in the ORC 1 class.

Few days before, from 25th to 28th April, the 39th edition of “Regata dei due Golfi” took place in Lignano. Many boat owner choosed Lignano to test the boat and the crew, in view of the next ORC International World Championship (June 21-29). Mr Taccheo’s GS 43 “Athyris” won the ORC 2 with a great performance; great result also for Mr Pierobon’s GS 39 Sport “Sagola” ( not yet set-up), with a honorable third place.
