We are proud to announce that the Grand Soleil 40 Yankee R has claimed, for the second consecutive year, the prestigious Pasqua Vela Trophy in the Overall ORC category during the 2025 Pasqua Vela regattas, held in the stunning waters of Monte Argentario and the Tuscan Archipelago.

Three perfect days of sailing, marked by ideal weather conditions: steady southeast winds ranging from 18 to 20 knots over the first two days, followed by a challenging tramontana on Monday. A demanding and captivating setting that tested tactics, crews, and boats alike—perfectly showcasing the impressive sailing qualities of the new GS 40.

What made this victory even more special was the crew composition: a mixed team, 50% local sailors from Argentario and 50% crew members from Cantiere del Pardo. A true testament to the passion, expertise, and team spirit that define every one of our creations—on and off the water.

Pierfrancesco Costagliola’s GS 40 Yankee R claimed the top spot in the Easter regatta with determination, confirming its status as one of the most competitive and versatile yachts in its class.
