After the success of the Grand Soleil 65 and the Grand Soleil 72, the shipyard is proud to present the Grand Soleil Plus 80 Long Cruise.
This new flagship joins the Plus lineup, dedicated to boats over 60 feet, embodying the excellence of Italian design and craftsmanship. With a length of 23.99 meters, the Grand Soleil Plus 80 Long Cruise has been designed to deliver comfortable, safe, and high-performance sailing while maintaining the elegance of its interiors.
This marvel of the sea invites you to experience a new standard for long-distance cruising: a perfect blend of luxury, innovation, and craftsmanship. The concept is proudly developed by Cantiere del Pardo, with naval architecture by Matteo Polli and exterior, interior, and layout design by Nauta Design.
Innovation in Construction
The construction of the Grand Soleil Plus 80 Long Cruise utilizes cutting-edge techniques, including composite sandwich materials with vinylester and epoxy resins, combined with vacuum infusion lamination.
Thanks to carbon reinforcements in high-stress areas, this yacht achieves an extraordinary balance of lightness and strength.
Every step, from lamination to launch, is managed entirely in-house, ensuring exceptional quality control. The result is a yacht designed to handle any weather and sea conditions with the reliability that only the highest level of artisanal craftsmanship can provide.
Superior Performance and Maneuverability
The dual rudder blade, combined with a telescopic keel, is one of the distinctive features of the Grand Soleil Plus 80 Long Cruise. This innovative configuration ensures optimal control even in challenging sea conditions, providing precise maneuverability and immediate responsiveness at the helm. Alternatively, the yacht can be configured with a single rudder blade, offering greater flexibility to cater to the diverse needs of owners.
The sail plan, featuring a carbon mast and boom, offers high performance and maximum stability. Every detail, from the sails to the rigging, is engineered for versatile and safe sailing, making the Grand Soleil Plus 80 Long Cruise an ideal choice for those seeking an exceptional sailing experience, even with a small crew.
ELEGANT AND FUNCTIONAL INTERIORS
The interiors of the Grand Soleil Plus 80 Long Cruise, designed by Nauta Design, combine elegance, comfort, and functionality, offering ideal spaces for extended voyages.
The configuration of the first unit includes four cabins for the owner and guests, as well as two crew cabins. Alternatively, an alternative layout with three guest cabins and two crew cabins is available. The forward owner’s cabin features a walk-around bed positioned in the direction of navigation and a private en-suite bathroom at the bow, ensuring maximum comfort and privacy. The guest cabins can be configured as spacious doubles, twins with single beds, or convertible into Pullman-style berths to suit the owner’s needs.
At the heart of the interiors lies the large, bright saloon with a raised saloon design, equipped with expansive windows offering a 270-degree panoramic view. This design ensures extraordinary natural light and a seamless flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The dining area to starboard faces a comfortable L-shaped sofa, creating an inviting space for socializing and relaxation.
At the stern, there is a twin crew cabin, a fully equipped galley, and a navigation table. Thanks to dedicated access, the crew can operate without disrupting the owner’s and guests’ spaces.
Finally, the owner can choose from various combinations of materials, colors, and finishes to make the interiors unique and personal. The first unit will feature warm oak furnishings, celebrated for their welcoming tone, and panels upholstered in high-quality textiles, ensuring an elegant, modern, and comfortable ambiance.
